The Location Type
The Boys & Girls Club logotype is a custom graphic
and should not be modified. The name of the typeface used to identify
the individual Boys & Girls
Club location
name is
Arial Bold caps. Its size and positioning are determined in proportion
to the
“B” in the Logotype (the height is designated as y
in the illustrations below). The distance between the bottom of
the Logotype and the top of the Location name is equal to the
space
1/2y.
For locations with very long names the space between the two lines
of the Location name equals 1/2y.
In the horizontal configuration, the Location
type aligns vertically (flush left) with the beginning of the word
“Boys.” The vertical configuration centers the Location
type under the Boys & Girls Club(s) Logotype.
The Location name is set in Arial Bold caps.
The Location name centers under the Logotype in the vertical configuration
and aligns with the left edge of the letter “B” in BOYS
in the horizontal configuration. The space between the bottom of
the Logotype and the top of the Location type is equal to 1/2y.
Spacing between the first and second lines of a long Location name
equals 1/2y.
